Dr Cleaner by Trend Micro is billed as a utility that helps speed up your MacBook. It works by checking for unnecessary files, junk files, duplicate files and identifying which applications are hogging a lot of hard drive traffic.

As the name suggests, App Cleaner & Uninstaller is used to clean up the computer hard drive. It has the effect of removing unused file applications to help clean up your MacBook.

CleanMyMac is used by many Vietnamese people because of its simplicity and ease of use. With just a few simple steps, users can easily clean up the full memory of Mac and make the device work smoother and more fluidly.
Monitoring with Activity Monitor
To check which applications are hogging the CPU, you can use Activity Monitor in two ways:
- Go to the utilities folder.
- Press Command + Spacebar to open Spotlight and type the keyword "activity" and press Enter.
At this point, the Activity Monitor window displays the applications and files running on the system. To check the status of the file, click View > Windowed Processes.

In the CPU column and the "%CPU" column, the CPU usage level of the running program is displayed. For applications that don't need or use too much CPU, you can close them by clicking on the name and pressing the X in the upper left corner of the screen.

Close unnecessary programs at startup
To close unwanted applications at startup, follow these steps: Open System Preferences -> Users & Groups -> Tab Login Items. The window now displays the applications and programs that start when your MacBook starts up.
All you need to do is see which apps are not being used and click the delete button in the Login Items section at the bottom of the list.
Cleaning starter
CleanMyMac 3 has a useful feature that cleans Launch Agents. It will help clean up a bunch of apps that start automatically on your laptop.
It's really easy to use. All you need to do is install the CleanMyMac 3 application on your computer. Follow the instructions to start Access: Extensions => Start Agent. Any apps running in the background or corrupted files will be cleaned up.
Reduce the effect in the image
Animation effects will help your MacBook look "real" and more beautiful. But they are one of the reasons why your MacBook runs slowly.
Therefore, to speed up your MacBook, you should reduce the effect of the image. How to do it: Go to System Preferences -> Select Accessibility -> Display -> Select Reduce Transparency.
Close the web browser
MacBook running slow? This is most likely because you have too many tabs saved on your web browser. To speed up your MacBook, it's best to reduce RAM.
Don't use popular browsers like Chrome, Coc Coc...you should switch to Safari as it is highly compatible and optimized on Mac OS. Also close unused tabs to save memory resources.
Turn off FileVault Disk Encryption
Beginning with the Yosemite release, FileVault disk encryption is enabled by default on MacBook models. It has the function of preventing unauthorized access and protecting computers from being stolen information and files.
However, this feature also partially affects speed, causing your Mac to slow down. So, to speed up your MacBook, you can disable FileVault disk encryption.
Here's how: Go to System Preferences. Choose Security & Privacy, then choose FileVault to turn it off.
However, you need to carefully consider turning off this feature. It only works if the laptop takes too long to start up.
